High school football event returns to Wayne State University in August

DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Xenith Prep Kickoff Classic returns this year after the event was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19.

The classic features twelve top high school football teams including Detroit Cass Tech, Detroit Catholic Central, Birmingham Groves, and Warren De La Salle.

The kickoff classic will be held at Wayne State University August 26-28, 2021.
