KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Six suspects are in custody after a break-in at a Kalamazoo County pharmacy lead to a chase ending in Eaton County, according to reports by WWMT and WOOD TV Tuesday.
Reports say the break-in occurred at a Kalamazoo County pharmacy early Tuesday morning. Police did not specify which pharmacy had been targeted.
Around 6:30 a.m., police said they were helping the Drug Enforcement Agency stop a suspected vehicle in Ionia County. However, the driver fled the scene.
The chase took police into Eaton County, where the vehicle was briefly lost in a construction area. It was found crashed into the deck of a home, where one of two suspects were arrested.
The second suspect who fled was later found in a separate vehicle with four other individuals. All five of those were arrested without further incident.
The case remains under investigation at this time.
