Another big day at the plate for Grossman as Tigers take two of three from Mariners

DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Robbie Grossman had three RBI to help the Detroit Tigers to an 8-3 win over the Seattle Mariners yesterday.

Grossman smacked a two-run homer, while Jonathan Schoop and Jake Rogers each hit a solo shot in the win.

It was a bullpen game for the Tigers pitching staff as they used six pitchers. Joe Jimenez was credited with the win.

Detroit and the Chicago White Sox begin a three-game series tonight at Comerica Park. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
