BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Prosecutors in Calhoun County have moved to dismiss all charges against a Battle Creek woman. She had been accused of threatening to kill an alleged kidnapping and rape victim in October last year. 45-year-old Tina Frederick had also been charged with witness intimidation and lying to detectives from the Calhoun County Sheriff Department.
Two 34-year-old men from Battle Creek, William Google, and Damon Durden were also charged in the case after a 28-year-old woman said she was taken to an apartment in Springfield and assaulted. But charges against the two men were dismissed in March after prosecutors said they could not proceed because they were unable to find the woman who made the accusations.
