SPRINGFIELD, MI (WNWN) – The name of the teenager who was killed in a traffic crash last Friday morning in Springfield has been released.
The Calhoun County Sheriff Department says 18-year-old Anthony Terrell of Battle Creek was killed in the crash which took place in the 400 block of Avenue A.
Terrell was a passenger in a 2004 Jeep Liberty when it went out of control and struck a large rock and utility pole.
It then rolled over several times before hitting the back of a truck.
Terrell was ejected from the vehicle. He later died at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.
A 44-year-old female driver only suffered minor injuries.
Another vehicle was involved in the crash which is still under investigation by the Sheriff’s Department.
