KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Family Health Center (FHC) has announced that it will be holding another COVID-19 vaccination event, this time during a local food truck rally.
This event comes after a previous COVID clinic, during which FHC officials were attempting to reach a goal of 1,000 shots in one day. Although they fell short on that goal, residents are still encouraged to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
FHC will host its next COVID-19 vaccination event at Bronson Park in partnership with OutFront Kalamazoo, WMed and Bronson Healthcare this Friday, June 11.
The clinic will be held in the park in conjunction with Lunchtime Live, a local food truck rally that also hosts live music through the summer.
FHC will be administering the Pfizer vaccine to individuals who are age 12 and up, and minors require adult consent. Appointments are encouraged, but not required, and walk-ups are welcome.
To schedule, residents can call the FHC COVID-19 hotline at 269-488-0804.
To date, FHC has provided more than 8,900 COVID-10 vaccines to the Kalamazoo community.
