KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Monday, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) announced that a man was shot and killed over the weekend while trying to break into a home.
According to officials, the man was identified as 33-year-old Aaron Joseph Williams. Police say Williams was attempting to break into a home on Whittier Drive late Saturday night when he was shot multiple times by the owner.
He was rushed to a hospital where he later died from his injuries, according to police.
The incident remains under investigation at this time, and no further information was immediately made available.
