KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – A pair of Western Michigan University football players were selected in this year’s National Football League Draft which wrapped up this past Saturday in Cleveland.
The San Francisco 49er’s used a fifth round to select Bronson offensive lineman Jaylon Moore which made him the 155th player selected in the 2021 Draft.
Moore started at left tackle for three seasons while at W.M.U.. Former Broncos Coach P.J. Fleck originally recruited Moore as a tight end.
The Seattle Seahawks used a second round pick to select wide receiver and return man D’Wayne Eskridge who was the 56th overall pick.
Eskridge was the Mid American Conference Special Teams Player of the Year and earned first team honors at wide receiver. The Football Writers Association of America also named him a second team All American member.
