WAYNE TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a traffic crash resulting in one driver injured on Tuesday.
Just before 3 p.m., deputies were called to investigate the crash near the intersection of Dutch Settlement Street and Glenwood Road, located in Wayne Township, Cass County.
The investigation shows that a 47-year-old Dowagiac resident, Joe Dilley, was at the stop sign at Glenwood Road and Dutch Settlement Street. Dilley had proceeded through the intersection and struck a second vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle was identified as a 19-year-old Decatur resident. She had minor injuries and was transported by EMS to Bronson Hospital in Paw Paw.
Seat belts were worn on both subjects. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor.
