KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Monday, Kalamazoo-based Green Door Distilling Co. announced the launch of a new portfolio of spirits.
The new flavor line includes Amaro (an Italian digestif), Botanical Gin, Blueberry Liqueur and Vodka.
Officials say all of these flavors were made by Head Distiller Tyler Glasser and made from Michigan-sourced ingredients.

“I don’t see traditional flavor profiles as a rigid thing, but more like a starting place from where I can build new and interesting compositions,” Glasser said in a statement.
In addition to the new product launch, Green Door is also transitioning to a new bottle and label design. Officials say the new design is intended to “help their spirits stand out and unlock the interest of adventurous consumers.”
“This brand and portfolio transition has taken our whole team working together,” Head of Growth Michael Jefferies added. “It’s exciting to be able to roll these changes out and give our followers new spirits to enjoy.”
Green Door’s new spirits are now available at their Kalamazoo Tasting Room, located at 429 E. North Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
They will also be distributed throughout Michigan to restaurants and retailers.
Green Door is Kalamazoo’s first distillery to open since 1858, having been founded in 2014, according to officials.
