LANSING, MI — Roughly four-dozen lawmakers from both parties are calling on the Michigan State University Board of Trustees to release six-thousand Larry Nassar documents.
A letter to MSU says lawmakers understand the trustees have been reviewing the documents, but “trust cannot be restored until the Attorney General’s investigatory team has had the opportunity to review these documents as well.”
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel needs the documents for its investigation into how MSU investigated the crimes committed by the former sports doctor.
