KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Spring Break begins for students and staff at Kalamazoo Public Schools Friday, but parents may still have some homework to do.
A survey has been sent to get opinions from parents on how this heavily altered school year went. Superintendent Dr. Rita Raichoudhuri says the results will help them plan for fall.
“We want to hear from as many families as possible. Please help us spread the word by sharing our social media posts on your own personal pages. And encourage families to take the surveys before the Sunday deadline.”
Two virtual town hall meetings will take place on April 21st to get input on a preliminary plan for the next school year. Raichoudhuri says she will announce her final plan to the School Board the following day.
Parents will then have ten days to decide whether their students will return to school or stay online for fall classes.
