BRONSON, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of a Bronson resident for possession of child sexually abusive material.
The suspect has been identified as Rex Allen Otis III. The investigation was initiated by the Fifth District Computer Crimes Unit in Coldwater when a suspect
was found to be downloading a large amount of child sexually abusive material (CSAM).
A search warrant was conducted at Otis’ residence and digital evidence was seized, while an interview was conducted on scene.
An arrest warrant was issued for Otis and he was subsequently arrested on March 4, 2021. He has since been charged with possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a felony.
