KALAMAZOO, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Parishes in the Catholic Diocese of Kalamazoo will be able to increase their church capacities up to 50 percent effective on Friday.
Bishop Paul Bradley says all of the COVID-19 protocols such as social distancing will stay in place.
Bradley says some parishes won’t be able to increase capacity due to the size of their church.
Parishes can optimize capacity by several means including the use of every other pew and indicating seating so people are not directly placed in front or back of each other.
More information on protocols for the upcoming Easter season can be found at the diocese web site which is www.diokzoo.org.
