Red Wings get two power play goals from Erne, Bernier comes up big in goal for win

DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Filip Hronek had three points to help the Detroit Red Wings beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-2 last night.

Adam Erne scored two power play goals and netminder Jonathan Bernier made 35 saves as Detroit put an end to Carolina’s eight-game winning streak.

The red Wings continue their six-game home stand against the Dallas Stars tomorrow night.
