EAST LANSING, MI — The NCAA men’s college basketball tournament begins this week. The bracket was revealed Sunday and Michigan State University is in.
The Spartans are an eleventh-seed this year, their lowest seeding ever. MSU will play UCLA Thursday in a First Four matchup, with the winner playing sixth-seed Brigham Young University this weekend.
The Michigan Wolverines are the number-one seed in the East Region in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, their first time as a top seed since 1993. The Wolverines will play either Mount St. Mary’s or Texas Southern on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
