SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) – West detectives along with the South Haven Police Department stopped a drug deal from taking place on Saturday, March 12th.
It happened during a patrol in an area of concern within the city of South Haven when detectives observed a suspected drug deal between persons. A traffic stop was conducted by police where they arrested a driver for possession with intent to distribute narcotics, prescription opiates and marijuana.
During the search, a pistol was located on his person which was stolen out of Portage.
The 24 year old male driver from South Haven was lodged on multiple felony charges.
