The NHL is getting set to return to the worldwide leader in sports. According to Sportsnet, the NHL has reached agreement on a seven-year deal with ESPN. It’s expected to begin next season, with the network having the right to broadcast the Stanley Cup Final four times over the life of the contract. NBC’s exclusive media rights expire after this season.
