BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The COVID-19 pandemic has claimed another Battle Creek business.
Pastrami Joe’s Deli announced on its Facebook page this week that they will be closing their downtown Battle Creek location at 80 West Michigan Avenue this Friday, March 12.
The post on Facebook stated, “We have endured a year like no other, (like all in our industry) and can no longer put the financial resources towards fighting this fight. This was not an easy decision, and the second round of closures for dine-in before the holidays was the final financial hit that we could not endure. The City of Battle Creek has worked with us to make this transition as easy as possible.”
They plan to continue operations in their flagship location in Marshall at 105 North Jefferson where all of their Battle Creek employees will be transferred.
Any gift cards will be honored at this location.
The post also indicated a new tenant will be taking over the location at 80 West Michigan Avenue sometime in the near future.
