BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Three injuries were reported after a three-vehicle crash in Battle Creek Monday afternoon.
It happened around 5:00 p.m. on Dickman Road near Oak Street. Police said two cars were side-by-side traveling eastbound on Dickman Road when the right lane driver tried to pull ahead of a second car and change lanes. The passing car struck the car in the left lane and spun out of control, hitting a westbound pick-up truck.
Two 21-year-old men in one of the vehicles were injured along with the 59-year-old driver of the pick-up. All three are said to have suffered serious injuries and had to be extricated from their vehicles. All others involved suffered minor injuries.
