KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Police in Kalamazoo made two arrests and seized two weapons over the weekend while investigating nuisance parties, commonly known as the “X-train”.
On Saturday, officers were conducting an organized patrol in the 400 block of West Michigan Avenue when they observed a person acting suspiciously who also appeared to be in possession of a firearm. Further investigations led to the discovery of two handguns which were seized by officers. Two 22-year old Kalamazoo residents were arrested on multiple firearms related charges.
Kalamazoo police say they will continue to actively pursue resolutions and solutions to the mobile nuisance parties.
