BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – A 62-year-old Battle Creek resident was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured Thursday morning on Dickman Road east of Clark Road in Battle Creek.
Battle Creek Police say the pedestrian was struck at 6:48 a.m. and was found lying in the road when emergency personnel arrived.
The 32-year-old driver of the vehicle which struck the pedestrian returned to the scene several minutes later.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and accident reconstructionists processed the scene.
