DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Red Wings may have hit rock bottom. Florida Panthers erupted for four first period goals as they went on to defeat the hapless Detroit Red Wings 7-2 in the first of a two-game set at Little Caesars Arena.
Wings coach Jeff Blashill summed up yet another miserable performance by saying, “we were terrible”.
The two teams play again at 5:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Detroit is dead last place in the Central Division with a 4-12-and-3 record and 11 points.
