LANSING, MI — Michigan is extending its coronavirus restrictions for restaurants to March 29th. The extension came under the radar when Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced an order on February 4th to allow contact sports to resume.
However, MLive.com reports that the February 4th announcement made by the governor included no mention of the extension on restaurant restrictions. The Michigan Department of Health has confirmed the extension for March 29th.
The restrictions, which include 25% capacity limits and contact tracing requirements, were scheduled to be lifted on February 21st.
