DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kevin Lankinen denied all 29 shots sent his way as the Chicago Blackhawks blanked the Detroit Red Wings 2-0 Wednesday night.
Philipp Kurashev scored a power-play goal in the second period and Alex DeBrincat added an empty-netter in the final minute for Chicago. The Blackhawks have won three in-a-row and six of their last seven games.
Jonathan Bernier gave up one goal on 25 shots for Detroit, which has dropped four of its last five games.
Detroit hosts the Florida Panthers for games on Friday and Saturday.
