VAN BUREN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — One suspect is in custody after a large meth bust that occurred in Van Buren County Monday morning.
According to the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received an anonymous tip around 7:39 a.m., which stated that a female driver was traveling from the Lawton area with a large amount of Methamphetamine.
According to the caller, the driver was in a silver Buick and was on her way to make a delivery in Decatur.

However, deputies were able to recover 12 baggies and approximately 7g of methamphetamine from her.
Police say she is held on the following charges:
- Possession of Meth
- Parole Violation
- Possession with intent to deliver
- Smuggling contraband into a jail
- Damaging/Destroying Evidence
She is currently being held pending review from the Prosecutor’s Office while the case remains under investigation.
