LANSING, MI — Lansing’s downtown Stadium District has boomed recently with the opening of the Capital City Market grocery store last fall. Now the first hotel to be built in downtown Lansing in almost 40 years is ready to open.
Courtyard by Marriott is across the street from Cooley Law School Stadium and is part of the Block600 development. It’s the first full-service hotel to open downtown since the mid-1980s.
The Courtyard by Marriott will start hosting guests beginning Friday. The hotel development cost $40 million.
