DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Soon-to-be Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is reflecting on the past dozen seasons he spent as the leader of the Detroit Lions. He says the decision to leave in a trade was mutual between him and the Lions, but it wasn’t easy.
Detroit took quarterback Jared Goff, two first-round draft picks and a third-round pick for Stafford, marking the first time two overall number-one picks have ever been traded for each other.
Stafford says one good memory at Ford Field was beating the Chargers in 2011 to make the playoffs.
