CENTREVILLE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office is reporting one crash that caused injury due to icy roads in Centreville.
Around 7:20 a.m. Friday, a 31-year-old female driver from Centreville lost control on the icy road conditions on Lutz Road near Roys Road.
Police say the driver had been traveling northbound on Lutz Road and went off the west side, striking a tree in the process.
Police add that the driver had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time. She was transported to Bronson Hospital with serious injuries.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by Constantine Fire and Police Departments, along with Lifecare Ambulance.
