Ayo Dosunmu had 21 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists to record the third triple-double in school history, and Kofi Cockburn had 23 points and 14 rebounds as No. 12 Illinois downed No. 19 Wisconsin 75-60 in a Big Ten game Saturday in Champaign, Ill.
Dosunmu, who set a career high for assists, joins Mark Smith (1979) and Sergio McClain (2001) as the only players in Illinois history to post a triple-double. He and Cockburn paced the Illini (13-5, 9-3), who shot 52.8 percent from the field and played one of their best defensive games of the season to win their fourth straight after losing two in a row.
Illinois also snapped a seven-game home losing streak to Wisconsin (14-6, 8-5), which has lost three of its past five.
D’Mitrik Trice scored 22 for the Badgers, who went 4-of-24 from 3-point range, committed 11 turnovers and were outrebounded 46-19.

Cameron Tyson set a program single-game record for 3-pointers with 10, leading the Cougars past the visiting Saints, an overmatched NAIA program from San Antonio.
Houston (16-2) rested all five of its starters and still led from beginning to end against Our Lady of the Lake (1-4), taking a 60-22 halftime lead.
Tyson scored 20 of his game-high 32 points in the first half, shooting 10 of 18 from beyond the arc. The Cougars’ Tramon Mark had 16 of his 22 points in the first half, and he added six rebounds and six assists. Jamal Shead had 20 points, a game-high 11 assists and nine rebounds.
Oklahoma State 75, No. 6 Texas 67
Kalib Boone scored 22 points and took 15 rebounds, both career-highs, and Cade Cunningham added 19 points, 16 of them after halftime, as the Cowboys outlasted the Longhorns in double overtime at Stillwater, Okla.
Avery Anderson III added 16 points and 10 rebounds for Oklahoma State (12-5, 5-5 Big 12), which has won three of its past four games.
Andrew Jones led Texas with 17 points while Ramey added 13 and Kai Jones scored 11 points for the Longhorns (11-5, 5-4). Texas, which has lost three games in a row and four of its past five, shot just 25.3 percent in the loss and was 5 of 35 from beyond the arc.

Elijah Harkless scored a season-high 19 points to lead the Sooners over the Cyclones in Norman, Okla.
Umoja Gibson had 18 points for Oklahoma and Austin Reaves — the Sooners’ leader in points, rebounds and assists — returned after missing two games due to COVID-19 contact tracing and registered 16 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
Oklahoma (12-5, 7-4 Big 12) won for the sixth time in seven games. Iowa State (2-11, 0-8) lost its seventh straight game despite 21 points from Rasir Bolton.
No. 18 Missouri 68, No. 10 Alabama 65
Dru Smith scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the host Tigers upset the Crimson Tide in Southeastern Conference play in Columbia, Mo.
The Crimson Tide (15-5, 10-1 SEC) used a 26-6 run in the final 10 1/2 minutes to cut Missouri’s lead to 66-65. But with seven seconds left, Missouri forward Mitchell Smith blocked Jahvon Quinerly’s layup attempt. Xavier Pinson made two free throws for the Tigers with 4.1 seconds left.
Kobe Brown scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Tigers (13-3, 6-3), with Mark Smith adding 12 points. Shackelford led Alabama with 15 points, while Quinerly (12 points), Keon Ellis (12 points) and John Petty Jr. (11 points) also scored in double figures.
No. 11 Tennessee 82, Kentucky 71
Freshmen Keon Johnson and Jaden Springer posted career highs to rally the visiting Volunteers over the struggling Wildcats in Lexington, Ky.
Johnson scored 17 of his 27 points in the second half as Tennessee (13-4, 6-4 SEC) overcame a double-digit deficit by outscoring Kentucky 48-29 in the second half and 18-7 over the last 6 1/2 minutes. Josiah-Jordan James had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds for Tennessee.
The loss was the sixth in the last seven games for the Wildcats (5-12, 4-6). Sophomore Keion Brooks Jr. posted his first career double-double with career highs in points (23) and rebounds (11) for Kentucky.
No. 13 Texas Tech 73, Kansas State 62
Mac McClung had 23 points as the visiting Red Raiders never trailed against the Wildcats in Manhattan, Kan.
Texas Tech (14-5, 6-4 Big 12) received 15 points from Kevin McCullar and 13 from Kyler Edwards. Kansas State (5-15, 1-10) was led by Nijel Pack and Mike McGuirl with 16 points each.
Kansas State managed to keep the game close. Texas Tech grabbed its first double-digit lead at 44-33 with 13:10 remaining to cap a 9-0 run. The Wildcats kept hanging around, trailing 63-57 with 2:20 remaining, but could not get any closer.

Sam Hauser scored a season-high 23 points as the Cavaliers beat the Panthers for the sixth straight time in the Atlantic Coast Conference game in Charlottesville, Va.
The Cavaliers (13-3, 9-1) improved to 8-0 at home this season. They shot 53.2 percent from the field, including 65 percent (13 of 20) in the second half. Virginia shot 50 percent (12 of 24) from 3-point range.
Justin Champagnie posted his ninth double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Panthers (9-6, 5-5), who have lost four of their past five games.
No. 15 Creighton 71, Marquette 68
Christian Bishop scored 14 points, Damien Jefferson added 13 and both players snagged a game-high eight rebounds to help the visiting Bluejays edge the Golden Eagles in Milwaukee.
Marquette (9-10, 5-8 Big East) trailed by as many as 12 points in the second half but cut the deficit to three on a D.J. Carton 3-pointer with 45 seconds to go and came within two points on another Carton 3-pointer moments later.
Creighton (14-5, 10-4) swished 3-of-4 free-throw attempts in the final minute and held on after Koby McEwen’s attempt at a game-tying 3 with less than two seconds left was off the mark.

Hunter Cattoor nailed a 3-pointer at the buzzer in regulation and hit a pair of clutch free throws with 4.4 seconds left in overtime to help the visiting Hokies rally for a win in an Atlantic Coast Conference game in Coral Gables, Fla.
Nahiem Alleyne’s left-handed runner with 26 seconds left in the extra period broke a 76-76 tie. Cattoor, who finished with 14 points off the Hokies’ bench, then took a charge with 6.6 seconds left and proceeded to seal the game at the foul line.
Justyn Mutts led the Hokies (14-4, 8-3 ACC) with a game-high 22 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, while Keve Aluma had 16 points, six rebounds and five assists, and Joe Bamisile finished with 11 points. The Hurricanes (7-11, 3-10) were led by Isaiah Wong and Elijah Olaniyi, who each finished with a team-high 19 points, while Kameron McGusty chipped in 18 points. Nysier Brooks recorded a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Miles McBride scored 29 points and Taz Sherman added 25 to lead the host Mountaineers to a win over the Jayhawks in Big 12 play in Morgantown, W.Va.
The Mountaineers (13-5, 6-3 Big 12) never trailed and enjoyed a comfortable 10-point lead at halftime. McBride and Sherman both set career highs in scoring. Derek Culver added 19 points and nine rebounds for West Virginia and Emmitt Matthews Jr. had 10 points.
David McCormack led Kansas (12-7, 6-5) with 17 points and also grabbed nine boards, while Marcus Garrett chipped in 18 points and Ochai Agbaji had 13. Jalen Wilson recorded a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds.
USC 66, No. 21 UCLA 48
Behind a stingy defensive effort and Ethan Anderson’s career-high 19 points, the host Trojans moved into a tie atop the Pac-12 Conference with its rout of the short-handed Bruins in Los Angeles.
The Trojans (15-3, 9-2 Pac-12) took a considerable step toward their first regular-season conference championship since 1985, leading almost wire-to-wire against a UCLA side that came into Saturday’s rivalry matchup alone atop the league.
Isaiah Mobley led the Trojans with 11 rebounds, while his younger brother Evan Mobley grabbed nine. Evan Mobley finished with a quiet nine points, almost eight points below his season-long average. UCLA (13-4, 9-2), meanwhile, shot just 3-of-19 from long range as a team. Johnny Juzang, who led the Bruins with 13 points, reflected the team’s overall shooting woes with a 6-of-21 performance from the floor and 0-of-5 from 3-point range. He did pull down a game-high 13 rebounds.
No. 24 Purdue 75, Northwestern 70
Jaden Ivey scored 20 points to lead the Boilermakers, who sent the visiting Wildcats to their ninth consecutive loss in a Big Ten game in West Lafayette, Ind.
Zach Edey scored 12 points, Mason Gillis had 11 points and Brandon Newman added 10 points for Purdue (13-7, 8-5 Big Ten), which has won six of its past eight games. Pete Nance scored 20 points, Chase Audige had 18 points and Ryan Young added 10 points for Northwestern (6-10, 3-9).
The big difference was free-throw shooting. Purdue went 23 of 24 from the foul line, while Northwestern was 8 of 11.
No. 25 Drake 80, Valparaiso 77
ShanQuan Hemphill scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the undefeated Bulldogs to a victory over the host Crusaders in a Missouri Valley Conference game at Valparaiso, Ind.
Joseph Yesufu came off the bench to add 12 points for the Bulldogs (18-0, 9-0), while Tremell Murphy contributed an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double. Roman Penn and D.J. Wilkins each chipped in 10 to help Drake hold on and remain among three unbeaten teams in Division I.
Sheldon Edwards pumped in a game-high 20 points for the Crusaders (6-12, 3-6), including a four-point play with 35.3 seconds left that brought them within 76-73. Ben Krikke added 16, while Eron Gordon and Jacob Ognacevic each hit for 11 points.
