FLINT MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A judge has ordered a Flint attorney to stop sharing misinformation regarding the proposed Flint water civil lawsuits settlement.
MLIVE reports that U.S. District Court Judge Judith Levy made her ruling on Friday, in regards to a hearing she held with Loyst Fletcher Jr.
The hearing was prompted by reports from other attorneys who said that Fletcher was communicating with their clients in connection to the settlement.
Judge Levy did not issue a restraining order, as the attorneys had asked for, but ordered Fletcher from contacting residents, and to tell the 200+ people he had already talked to that the information he provided was misleading.
