KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) is investigating an armed robbery that took place on Monday, January 11.
Just before 7:00 p.m., officers were called to the 2100 block of South Burdick Street, where three males had entered the Tienda Guatemalteca and robbed the store at gunpoint.
The store employees complied with their demands, who had fled the scene by the time officers arrived.
Surveillance video was obtained, and officers were able to see a small silver sedan fleeing the area immediately after the robbery. All three suspects were wearing black hooded sweatshirts and masks.
