ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Michigan DNR is hoping the public can help them find whoever is responsible for dumping hundreds of tires in and near the Allegan State Game Area recently.
More than 500 tires that have been dumped in several locations over the past week. A local resident who takes daily walks in the state game area reported the first pile of tires last Wednesday. Since then, DNR officers estimate they have located more than 500 tires and continue to find more piles in and near the state game area and along the roadways between Allegan and Fennville.
Anyone with information or who may have observed suspicious behavior there recently is asked to contact the DNR’s Report All Poaching Hotline at 1-800-292-7800. You can call or text 24/7 and remain anonymous if you wish to.
