LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) announced today it will not be publishing data updates on the Michigan.gov/Coronavirus website on Thursday, Dec. 24, Friday, Dec. 25, Thursday, Dec. 31 or Friday, Jan. 1, 2021.
“We wanted to give MDHHS staff some time off during the holidays,” MDHHS director Robert Gordon said in a statement. “They have shown incredible dedication this year and deserve a chance to rest and celebrate with their families.”
Data will post on Saturday, Dec. 26, Monday, Dec. 28, Saturday, Jan. 2 and Monday, Jan. 4. In addition to total numbers, MDHHS will calculate and post daily averages across the preceding three days.
