It’s a ten year process between seedling and selling but those who bucked what had been a downward trend in the marketability of live Christmas trees in 2010 should be feeling good this year. The National Christmas Tree Association says if you’re contemplating putting up a real tree this year, don’t put it off as the supply is going fast. Fewer were planted a decade ago with the result being a lower supply to begin with. An uptick in live tree sales was noted last year just before COVID’s appearance in our part of the world. Now, some in the industry see the pandemic as a driving force in giving things around the house a traditional flavor and something good to remember the conclusion of 2020 by.
