DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Gas prices across the state have dropped about three cents this week compared to last week.
Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $2.01 per gallon for regular unleaded. According to AAA, this price is 7 cents less than this time last month, and 49 cents compared to this time last year.
Motorists are paying an average of $30 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline; a discount of $14 from when prices were their highest last July.
“As demand continues to drop, especially amid rising coronavirus cases, pump prices will be poised to follow suit ahead of winter,” AAA Spokesperson Adrienne Woodland said in a statement.

- Least expensive gas price averages: Traverse City ($1.96), Lansing ($1.97), Flint ($1.98)
In Kalamazoo County, motorists are paying an average of $1.97 per gallon of unleaded.
