Suspicious death at Grand Valley State under investigation

ALLENDALE MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The investigation is continuing into the suspicious death of a Grand Valley State University student.

The victim’s body was discovered by a jogger on Saturday morning in an area near a cross country trail and the intermural fields, and was identified as a student.

The name of the victim has not been released, but school officials say that the family has been notified.

The school has released a warning that students should be careful if walking alone on the campus, and also that additional police are now on the grounds.
