DURHAM, N.C. — The Michigan State Spartans have beaten the Duke Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium for the first time ever.
The 12th ranked Spartans started slow, but beat the number-six Blue Devils 75-69 on Tuesday night. Rocket Watts scored 20 and Julius Marble added 12 points off the bench for MSU.
MSU coach Tom Izzo says even with no fans, he’s “not gonna put this as an asterisk” and called it a “good win for us against a good team and a great program.”
The Spartans are 3-and-0 and will host Detroit Mercy at the Breslin Center in East Lansing on Friday.
