DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – AAA Michigan says gas prices in Michigan are down five cents compared to last week. Michigan drivers are now paying an average price of $1.95 per gallon for regular unleaded. This price is 12 cents less than this time last month and about 52 cents less than this time last year.
Motorists are paying an average of $29 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline; a discount of $15 from when prices were their highest last July.
“If demand remains low, Michigan drivers could see pump prices continue to drop into December,” said Adrienne Woodland, spokesperson, AAA – The Auto Club Group.
The expensive average price for gas this week is in Marquette at $2.12 per gallon. Least expensive gas price averages are in Flint at $1.86 per gallon and Lansing at $1.89 per gallon.
