BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Battle Creek Police are investigating a shooting that happened Thursday evening in the busy retail area on the city’s southeast side.
Police were sent to a report of shots fired in the area of the Walmart store on Beckley Road at 9:42 p.m . They discovered that a 21 year old male was shot several times in the parking lot of Steak ‘n Shake located at 5990 Beckley Road.
The shooting victim was transported to Bronson Kalamazoo Hospital and is in stable condition.
Battle Creek Police are seeking anyone with information to contact the police department.
