ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Lions held a walk through yesterday as they prepare for their Thanksgiving Day match-up with the Houston Texans.
Running back D’Andre Swift and wide receivers Danny Amendola and Kenny Golladay did not play in Sunday’s loss to Carolina due to injury and are questionable tomorrow.
Corners Mike Ford, who is in concussion protocol and Jeff Okudah, with a shoulder injury, would not have participated in drills if practice had been held yesterday.
Former Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is a semifinalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. Johnson played his entire nine-year NFL career with Detroit and holds Lions records as the all-time leader in receiving yards and receptions.
Former Michigan cornerback Charles Woodson, quarterback Peyton Manning and defensive end Jarred Allen are also appearing on their first ballot.
The 25 semifinalists will be reduced to 15 finalists before that list is sent to the Hall of Fame selection committee in February.
