DIMONDALE, MI — The Michigan State Police are asking your help to “Stuff a Blue Goose” this weekend. The annual campaign collects non-perishables, canned goods and household paper products for those in need across mid-Michigan.
This year’s event is being held Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Dimondale. The address is 162 Bridge Street. It’s not from the State Police complex in Dimondale, which is just south of Lansing.
Items collected will be placed in an iconic blue State Police patrol vehicle, known as a Blue Goose. Donated items will go to local shelters and food banks across the mid-Michigan area ahead of the holidays.
