DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – After motorists enjoyed a few day of prices under $2.00 per gallon, gas prices in Michigan are now up seven cents compared to last week.
AAA Michigan says the state’s drivers are now paying an average price of $2.07 per gallon for regular unleaded. That price is two cents less than this time last month and 39 cents less than this time last year.
Motorists are paying an average of $31 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline; a discount of $13 from when prices were their highest last July.
“Although the Michigan state average increased this week, low demand will likely contribute to pump prices remaining low this autumn,” said Adrienne Woodland, spokesperson, AAA – The Auto Club Group.
