BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN) – The Calhoun County Public Health Department reported six more COVID-19 related deaths over the weekend which brought the county’s death toll up to 80. They also said there have been 354 new coronavirus cases since Friday. That brought the total number of cases up to 3,661 with 1,604 released from isolation and 1,047 released from quarantine.
There are 33 confirmed COVID-19 persons currently in a Calhoun County hospital bed. That’s down from last week.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says there were 9,010 new cases from Sunday and Monday along with 62 additional deaths.
Of the 216,804 cases so far in Michigan, 128,981 persons have recovered from the virus.
