Off and on since 1992 we’ve been exposed to the slogan ‘Beef. It’s What’s for Dinner’ on radio, television and in magazine ads. The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association is ready to do another take on the now-iconic message in time for the holidays with a revised slogan ‘Beef. It’s What’s for Holiday Dinner. The group plans to return the brand to television for the first time since 2003 during Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas movies. Last year the campaign released a successful video called the ‘Drool Log’ featuring two-hours of a prime rib cooking over an open flame. Starting next month, NCBA has shortened the video to 15-seconds. They promise to help consumers prepare the perfect holiday meal through their webpage ‘BeefItsWhatsForDinner.com.’
