RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Tuesday, the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office announced that one person had died in an early-morning Richland Township crash.
According to WWMT, deputies responded to the crash just before 5:30 a.m. at M-89 near East AB Avenue. Police say the vehicle had left the road at some points and crashed into trees. The vehicle was carrying three occupants, and the female driver died as a result.
Two others were injured in the crash, with one being transported to a nearby hospital and another refusing treatment at the scene. However, reports say neither of their injuries are life threatening.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
