SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Police in South Haven are seeking help from the public in identifying suspects involved in a shooting Friday.
Just before 3 p.m., officers responded to a report of several shots being fired in the 300 Block of Elkenburg Street.
All of those involved had fled the scene before police arrived, but no one appeared to be injured in the incident. Several 9mm and .40 caliber bullet casings were found at the scene, along with a bullet that had struck a nearby church.
A short time later in South Haven Township, officers were able to locate a vehicle that had been struck by gunfire during the shooting. However, the occupants of the vehicle were unwilling to cooperate with the investigation.
All of the subjects involved in the shooting are thought to be either current or former residents of South Haven.
The four vehicles in the attached photo, along with an already identified vehicle, were present when the shooting took place and fled the scene afterwards.
