LANSING, MI — A former convict is attempting to recall Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.
The Board of State Canvassers has approved the petition language from Chad Baase of Albion, giving him 60 days to collect more than one-point-zero-six million signatures to get it on a ballot.
Baase is trying to recall her for enforcing Governor Whitmer’s COVID-19 executive orders in August and this is his fifth attempt to recall her. He is also trying to recall three other Democrats: Governor Whitmer, Lieutenant Governor Gilchrist, and Secretary of State Benson.
