FAWN RIVER TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — One man is dead after a Fawn River Township crash in St. Joseph County, WOOD TV reported Tuesday.
According to reports, troopers with the Michigan State Police (MSP) say the crash happened shortly before 1 p.m. on US-12, which is near Carls Road.
A 43-year-old man from Sturgis was driving his Jeep vehicle westbound on US-12 when another driver in a Ford F-150 crossed over the center line, resulting in a head-on crash.
The Sturgis man died at the scene. Both the driver of the Ford, a 39-year-old man also from Sturgis, and his passenger were taken to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Factors in the crash, including alcohol, are currently unknown. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
