MATTAWAN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Officials at the Mattawan Consolidated School district have recalled approximately 350 yearbooks after it was discovered that it contained a picture of an anti-police sign.
The photo showed a profane comment about police, and was part of a feature about what students did during their summer vacation.
Officials said that several parents emailed the district complaining about the photo, which is how it was discovered.
.@MattawanCSD goes political in 2020 yearbook. Openly supports BLM and promotes “F**k Police.” Now @MattawanSupe and @mattawanHSP want the yearbooks back, but only because of profanity, not because of anti-police message. #mattawan @IngrahamAngle @TuckerCarlson pic.twitter.com/6ostCjfmRN
